fitUnited Pittsburgh

Improving the health and wellness of children

fitUnitedfitUnited Pittsburgh is an exciting new initiative launched by The United Way of Allegheny County to improve the health of our children by mobilizing and motivating our community. We can do this with your help, by providing caring adults with knowledge and tools to support healthy kids, encouraging healthy eating at youth-serving organizations, increasing awareness of how to choose and access healthy foods, and increasing physical activity.

We have two key objectives; to increase physical activity levels and improve nutrition in children from birth to age 12.
