Activities and Events

Wilkinsburg Public Library and the Eastridge Branch offer more than traditional and modern library services. Various recreational and learning activities and events are available to adult and youth patrons.

– Knitting and crocheting classes are available for adults, and are quite popular. Chess is also offered at the Eastridge Branch.

– The Children’s Library is very active with weekly Wii gaming sessions after school, family movie nights, and children’s story time.

– Periodically, guest speakers come to the library to give presentations on various topics of local or personal interest.
