From our inception, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation (JHF) has played a community role in public health. From our early public health campaigns, including Operation KidShot, The Breast Test, and Working Hearts, to our current initiatives, JHF is committed to taking on public health issues that are timely, but under-served.

HPV Vaccination Initiative

NOTE: This program is no longer active. However, we wish to make the following information available: Two vaccines exist that prevent infection by the two most prevalent cancer-causing HPV types, yet only about a third of adolescent females and less that 7 percent of males across the United States had completed the recommended three-dose series in 2012. JHF, with the support of an impressive advisory committee, developed a public health campaign to increase uptake in HPV vaccination in our region. See: HPV Vaccination for more details.
