Get fit every Wednesday with Avalon Library! The walk starts from the YMCA Community Center to CVS in Bellevue. Everyone welcome!

Fitness with Elena @ Cooper-Siegel Community Library - Program Room

This one-hour class will improve your fitness with a mix of stretching, Yoga and Pilates.  Drop in on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays.  The first class is free.  The cost for ongoing classes is $10 per class. Bring your own mat.  The instructor is Elena Borisova, who has experience as a fitness instructor and personal trainer at a number of fitness centers in the area.

Wise Walk at C.C. Mellor Memorial Library @ C.C. Mellor Memorial Library

Wisewalks meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:00am at the Parking lot at the end of Lancaster Ave. We walk for an hour (approximately 3 miles) through Fern Hollow. New participants receive a t-shirt and pedometer.

Adult Nature Walk @ North Park Ice Rink Parking Lot

Free & open to the public. Originally started as a program for stroke & heart patients, this nature group has expanded to any interested adult. The informal group meets rain or shine every Thursday of the year. Local naturalists guide these enlightening, leisurely paced walks. New nature adventures & discoveries every week. Dress well for outdoor walking.

Live Game Lab @ Carnegie Boys & Girls Club
May 25 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Every week we’ll gather to explore movement through games. Create, test, teach, and play your own games and the games of your classmates and coaches! Come experience original class favorites like Diamond Heist, Ninja Tag, Ultimate Obstacle Course, and more!

For anyone 8-12 years old with a Boys and Girls Club membership and a playful attitude. Limit of 14 participants.

South Park Table Tennis Club @ Home Economics Building
May 25 @ 7:15 pm – 8:15 pm

Tuesday night competitive play starts at 7:30 PM, so you need to arrive no later than 7:15 to get checked in and assigned to a table. Our Tuesday night league draws an average of 30 to 40 players of all skill levels and is played in a round robin format of 4-6 players per group determined by ratings and the previous week’s results.

South Park Table Tennis membership is $40/year and new members are welcome to visit 3 times for free.

Please join the Live Well Community, Dormont, for their 2017 Dormont Dash on Saturday, May 27th!

The event will feature a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. If you sign up in advance, the registration fees will be $30 and $10 respectively. The proceeds from this race will be donated to Make-A-Wish®. Make-A-Wish fulfills the wishes of children with diagnosed, life-threatening medical conditions.
