How to Live Well in your Environment Learning Collaborative Event @ Frick Environmental Center

Join Live Well Allegheny for a Learning Collaborative workshop on June 5th! Live Well Allegheny will host a “How to Live Well in your Environment” workshop focused on environmental considerations to healthy living. The event will feature presentations and roundtables on lead, soil testing, air quality, and prevention of tick bites. The event will be held June 5th from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Frick Environmental Center. The event is free, and light refreshments will be provided. Check out the agenda for the workshop here!

Cardio Kickboxing @ Innovative Fitness

A group fitness class designed for all levels of fitness! Includes high and low intensity kickboxing movements and a full cardio workout to keep your heart beat up.

Mental Health Support Group @ Bridgeville Public Library

logo snippetCaptureChartiers Center runs a support group for individuals and families dealing with behavioral health concerns. This group meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Bridgeville Public Library from 6:30pm -8pm. The group is co-facilitated with St. Clair Hospital and is open to the community. Bring your concerns and share in the conversation with others who share the same experiences.

In addition, Chartiers Center co-facilitates a NEW group for behavioral health consumers that meets during the day. This group will meet the third Tuesday of the month starting on January 19th from 11am-12:30pm.  This group also meets at the Bridgeville Public Library. Live Game Lab @ Carnegie Boys & Girls Club

Every week we’ll gather to explore movement through games. Create, test, teach, and play your own games and the games of your classmates and coaches! Come experience original class favorites like Diamond Heist, Ninja Tag, Ultimate Obstacle Course, and more!

For anyone 8-12 years old with a Boys and Girls Club membership and a playful attitude. Limit of 14 participants.
