Fitness with Elena @ Cooper-Siegel Community Library - Program Room

This one-hour class will improve your fitness with a mix of stretching, Yoga and Pilates.  Drop in on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays.  The first class is free.  The cost for ongoing classes is $10 per class. Bring your own mat.  The instructor is Elena Borisova, who has experience as a fitness instructor and personal trainer at a number of fitness centers in the area.

Stress Management & Health Learning Collaborative Event @ Hosanna House Event Center

Looking for ways to manage your stress? Join Live Well Allegheny for a Learning Collaborative Event!

Live Well Allegheny is kicking off the 2018 Learning Collaborative Series with Stress Management & Health! The workshop will provide information on how stress impacts your health. You will receive resources on managing stress for you, your consumers/constituents, and your employees. The purpose of the workshop is to provide resources, discuss best practices, and provide an opportunity for networking with other Live Well Allegheny partners.

The workshop will be held Monday, March 12th from 2:00-4:30pm at the Hosanna House Event Center (807 Wallace Avenue, 3rd Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15221).

Wisewalks meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:00am at the Parking lot at the end of Lancaster Ave. We walk for an hour (approximately 3 miles) through Fern Hollow. New participants receive a t-shirt and pedometer.

South Park Table Tennis Club @ Home Economics Building
Mar 13 @ 7:15 pm – 8:15 pm

Tuesday night competitive play starts at 7:30 PM, so you need to arrive no later than 7:15 to get checked in and assigned to a table. Our Tuesday night league draws an average of 30 to 40 players of all skill levels and is played in a round robin format of 4-6 players per group determined by ratings and the previous week’s results.
